Morgana Synthesizer

It was announced recently that the company 112dB Software published a new synth with the name Morgana. (Does it remind you of carribean vacation? :) ) It is an authentica representation of an early digital sampler, ("designed to be musical rather than accurate").

Its capabilities can be considered full fledged. Per voice, Morgana offers a broad range of modeled VCFs, amp and filter envelopes. Morgana also boast a unique interpolation method which enhances digital artifacts and a preamp to shape each sample, simulating a primitive analog-digital stage.

Morgana is also capable of sampling, either through its own inputs or through a technology called SampLink which effectively allows Morgana to sample from any track in a multitrack environment in a simple and no-hassle way.

The soft synth is available at its launch date for the price of Eur 169, and a free 30-day demo version is also available for download in order for prospective buyers to test its capabilities before purchasing the full version.
